How to Rehab: The Rehab Wheelchair Decision Tree from Referral to Delivery

Course Description:  
The induction of certification has lead/shed light on the art of the service-  
delivery models of providing complex rehab mobility devices. This course  
provides attendees with an overview of the decision tree of rehab – how to go  
from referral to the delivery, follow-up, service and maintenance using best  
practices guidelines. This course will cover the evaluation process, which  
includes seating and positioning, then take the attendee beyond that one part  
of the process and discuss the decision-making from the consumer's point of  
entry into the complex-rehab's service-delivery process through product  
selection as it relates to the clinical findings, ordering of the equipment,  
on through set-up, delivery, outcomes, and service, repair, and maintenance.  
Case studies of varying client disease states will be introduced for  
discussion. Using best practice guidelines that are in the infantry of  
publication, the attendee should leave having a better understanding of the  
complex-rehab's service-delivery process.
